How long will I be in therapy?

As with most things in therapy, the answer is it depends! There is no set timeline for therapy. Sometimes people feel they only need therapy to meet a certain goal and others feel comfort in having a space where they can focus on themselves regularly. Ultimately, you get to decide how long you want to be in therapy!

How often should I do therapy?

Typically when first starting therapy it is recommended to attend on a weekly or biweekly basis. This is important to build a strong therapeutic relationship and rapport with your therapist. If you do not have a preference your therapist will make a recommendation and help you decide the best frequency of sessions at the end of your first session. After some time, you may decide to decrease your sessions to once a month or even on as “as needed” basis. You will be able to discuss this change with your therapist during your sessions.

How do I know who the right therapist is for me?

A good starting place is by reading our bios to see who you think might be a good fit for you. If you are still unsure, please send us a message and we will be happy to schedule a consultation call to determine the best fit.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require any cancellations or rescheduling to be made 24 hours prior to your session time. You can cancel or reschedule on the client portal, via email, phone or text. Any cancellations or rescheduling done within 24-hours of the session time may be subject to a full session fee based on your clinician.

What is your no-show policy?

If you are more than 15-minutes late to your session you forfeit the remaining session time and will be subject to a full session fee based on your clinician.
